Abstract: This research ia aimed to know the relation religiousness and class climate with emotional intelligence students on Islamic Boarding School Ar-raudatul Hasanah Medan. There are 123 students taken as the research sample. They are choosen by using the propotinal stratified random sampling among all students of class IV and V of Ar-Raudatul Hasanah Medan. The research instruments use the quesionnaries which had been tried previously. The questionnaires consist of three scales, they are: Religiousness scale, class climate scale, and emotional intelligence scale. And then data are analyzed by the descriptivelyand inferencially. The result of the research are use the regression analysis denotes that: 1). The existence of positive relation and significan between religiousness and emotional intelligence, with effective contribution as mush as 75.6%, 2). The existence of positive relation and significan between class climate and emotional intelligence, with effective contribution as much as 72.6%, 3). The existence of positive relation and significan between religiousness and class climate with emotional intelligence, the effective contribution as much as 78.5%
Description: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara religiusitas dan iklim kelas dengan kecerdasan emosional santri. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 123 santri. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik proportional stratified random sampling dari seluruh santri dari kelas IV dan V Pondok Pesantren Ar-Raudatul Hasanah Medan. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket yang sebelumnya telah diujicobakan. Angket terdiri atas tiga skala, yaitu skala religiusitas, skala iklim kelas, dan skala kecerdasan emosional. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menggunakan analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa: 1). Adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara religiusitas dan kecerdasan emosi, dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 75.6%, 2). Adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara iklim kelas dengan kecerdasan emosi, dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 72.6%, 3). Adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara religiusitas dan iklim kelas dengan kecerdasan emosi, dan secara bersama-sama memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 78.5% .
